Range

RANGE was a concept shop for textile lovers and travel enthusiasts, founded by a husband-and-wife team after a chance conversation at a winery in Greece. What began as a “we could do that better” moment over lunch turned into a brick-and-mortar shop and subscription box built around an idea that the feeling of vacation shouldn’t end when you get home.

When RANGE came to Branch, the challenge was translating wanderlust into something tangible with an identity that felt globally curated with enough range (literally) to hold everything from home goods to live events to a recurring subscription box. The brand draws on natural, well-traveled textures and an editorial warmth that mirrors the shop’s own sourcing philosophy: everything has a story and nothing is mass-produced.

The icon

The RANGE monogram takes a single letterform and splits it into two overlapping strokes. That shift in path is deliberate, a nod to the brand’s own origin: a single idea of “we could do that better,” pulled from a passing conversation into something that took on a life of its own.

We designed a mark that holds that same duality, one solid stroke and one in flux, intimate and expansive at once. Bold enough to stand alone on a storefront sign and refined enough to sit confidently within an editorial feature, it feels like a mark built for a brand that never stopped moving.

BRAND IDENTITY

The RANGE brand was built to be crisp, confident and instantly recognizable, from the storefront to lookbooks. The palette draws from both mountainous landscapes and the sea, grounding the brand in the same well-traveled, well-worn warmth as the goods themselves. It’s an identity meant to hold up whether it’s stamped on a card, wrapped around a package, or catching light on a shelf.

AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Every touchpoint was built to feel like it belonged in a well-traveled suitcase. From the stationery featuring photography from sourcing trips to the website’s own storytelling sections, RANGE’s identity extended far beyond the shop itself and into every piece a customer might hold, unwrap or scroll past. The system carried the same globally-curated style whether it showed up in a social post, a shipping label, or a business card handed across a counter.
