The Heartland
The Heartland Interior Design is a residential and commercial interior design studio founded in 2018 by Tara Miller. Rooted in Nebraska and working with clients across the country, Tara and her team create spaces shaped by nature, travel and authenticity. No two projects look alike, because no two clients are alike. Every space is built around the people who live, work and gather in it, layered with vintage finds and pieces from local makers.
The identity needed to carry that same warmth and craft. It had to feel elevated enough for luxury homes and hospitality projects, while staying grounded in the Midwestern roots and personal attention that set Tara’s studio apart.

SCRIPT MONOGRAM
The monogram centers on a flowing script H, its sweeping strokes balancing elegance with ease. The fluid letterform feels personal and handcrafted, like a signature, reflecting the one of a kind approach Tara brings to every space.
The monogram anchors The Heartland identity across signage, stationery, hang tags and social. It scales cleanly from a small embossed detail to an illuminated window installation, always bringing a sense of quiet luxury.
THE PALETTE
The palette is drawn directly from the materials Tara works with every day: army green, warm tobacco, deep espresso and soft bone, balanced with natural linen and stone neutrals. Presented like a designer’s swatch book, the colors feel tactile rather than digital, echoing the textiles and natural finishes that define her interiors.
