Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1. How much does it cost to work with you?

Each project is based on a custom proposal that’s tailored to your specific needs (no extra filler!) after we’ve connected on a call but our most popular packages list starting rates for ease of general budgeting. Get in touch for a current guide.

  • 2. What is the usual timeline for my project?

Timelines vary depending on the scope of your project. On average, visual strategy takes 2 weeks to complete while comprehensive strategy and brand identity each take 6 weeks. Websites take 12 weeks from start to finish including strategy, design and development.

  • 3. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Working with a studio is a big investment, so we try to make plans as simple as possible. Most projects are broken into 2 installments for a single package and 3-4 for multi-package bookings. The first installment is required as a deposit to hold your spot on our schedule.

  • 4. What if I just want a logo?

At this time we offer full brand identity systems only. If standing out from your competitors and creating a sense of focus and clarity is your goal, then you’re going to need more than just a logo to create a long-lasting impact.

  • 5. Do I receive editable files?

Yes! For branding and print projects, you receive packaged, fully editable Illustrator or InDesign files depending on the type of project. All social templates are set up as Canva files.

  • 6. What web platforms do you design for?

WordPress is our primary focus because the platform can flex to meet your exact vision but other platforms (Squarespace and Shopify) are available upon request.

  • 7. For web projects, are development costs included?

No. Web development costs differ greatly depending on how complex your site design is and who you partner with. We want to make sure you have long-term support and ongoing customer service as your site evolves so we’ll reach out to trusted partners for estimates on your behalf.

  • 8. How soon can we get started?

We’re usually booked 4-6 weeks in advance. Contact us for current availability.

Rave Reviews

  • “Shauna is a master at simple, stylish and well thought out logo design and is the brains behind the iconic logo for The Brand Stylist. I was drawn to her strong, elegant feminine style and captivated by her modern aesthetic. I’ve since worked with Shauna across a number of client projects and she has consistently impressed with her attention to detail, relentless pursuit of client happiness and creative flair.”

  • “I have owned my own businesses for over 20 years, and I’ve been through A LOT of graphic designers in that time! Besides being extremely talented, Shauna is the only designer that I have ever worked with that actually gets things done on time and in a super professional manner.”

  • “Before working with Shauna I had no idea what was possible for my brand. I just had a little wedding blog with a small but loyal readership but it lacked visual direction. Since the initial logo, Shauna and I have worked on numerous projects including completely redesigning my website and the Rock n Roll Bride magazine. No project is too big, too small or too crazy. Having her as my designer has been the best investment I’ve made in my business.”
