When it comes to small businesses, in the beginning we’re often running them alone. But soon, we realize that in order to grow, it’s important to surround ourselves with a network of people we trust. As small business owners, we’re bound to hit rough patches and having a team of people we can depend on through the good, the bad and the unexpected is indispensable.
Map out your Team
In terms of your team, it’s likely that you won’t have any full-time employees when you’re starting out. Most of your team will either be freelancers or service-based providers that you occasionally call on. And, that’s okay! The goal of this section is to clearly list each person on your team, what they do for your business and why they are ideal person for the role.
Think about all the people who contribute to helping your business run smoothly. Some examples may be an accountant, tax preparer, lawyer, graphic designer, web developer, assistant, project manager, photographer, copywriter, printer, blog contributor and so on.
Now that your Team section is completed, you only have one section left which we’ll conquer next week!
