Are you ready to dig into the fourth part of your business plan? Today we’re going to focus on the Operations. The Operations section is your chance to explain how you keep your business running smoothly and what assets you’ll need to keep it that way. It’s a little dry but absolutely necessary!
Map out your Operations
• Is your business web-based or do you also have a physical location? If you have a physical location, detail why you chose it and what it costs.
• List any systems you use to keep your business running smoothly. This may include invoicing software, accounting software, inventory control software, project management software and so on. Do you see any room for improvement?
• Detail the supplies and equipment that are necessary to run your business. Will you need to make any large investments in the future?
Next week, we’ll be covering part 5 of your business plan, the People.
